A Repeatable Read

I love all things productivity and finally got around to reading this book. For each book I read, I have one big takeaway. There were many in this book but the top one for me is to make your habits easy do what feels natural, comes easy. I can’t say specifically what will change in my daily habit stacking but having read this book, I believe that some new groundbreaking habit ideas will float to the top for me and I’ll embrace new impactful habits.

I’ve read a LOT of books about Building Good Habits…

...and this one is different! It is methodical and no-nonsense. it leaves guilt behind. It gently teaches you how to and how to fix it when it doesn't work. I am actively using this advice and I am very pleased with the results. This is the best book about creating long term meaningful habits I have ever experienced. I highly recommend it.

One of the best books I’ve read so far.

I just wanna say that this book is a great book. Out of all my years of living (I’m only 20 years old) I found this book to be very useful. It gave me new ideas and information about things that I didn’t even know. I’m at a place right now where Im still trying to find myself and create habits for me that I can stick to. I have no complaints about this book and anybody that reads and sees this should read it. To James clear thank you for writing this book and giving me new ways to look at things.

Clear

I've read this book twice. I may revisit it again, during the coming years, so I purchased it this year. Previously I got it from my local library. Clear is just that - he is clear in his suggestions for moving forward with any plan or goal. It starts with habits. The little habits that you implement will get you where you want to go. I often think of the 4 Laws of Habits and how to make new habits obvious, easy, attractive and satisfying. Jump in. Do those little habits over and over and over.

Tortoise and the Hair.

I enjoyed this book because its concepts were very easily observed. Additionally, it reinforces the notion that sometimes, we just have to trust the process. The small wins do build us up. I wholeheartedly recommend and will revisit this book in the future. Small and consistent changes are my biggest take aways.

2nd time around in three weeks!

This book is amazing! I wish I read it years ago. I have a long commute so I bought the audio book and finished it in a week. Then I bout myself a hard copy as well as a copy for my three teeenage boys. I am now reading it again along with learning how to use the Habits Journal. I cannot recommend it enough.
